(Note: this conference is ended, but this reference is being kept for historical purposes)
The U.S. Bishops will hold their semiannual plenary meeting in Dallas, on June 13th, 14th and 15th. This meeting affords faithful Catholics who are deeply concerned about the current scandals, a chance to be present in a prayerful, silent picket outside the conference. We will bring our own signs stating our concerns.
|Where:||Public sidewalk outside Fairmont Hotel, 1717 N. Akard St., Dallas, TX.|
|Date:||June 13, 2002 - Thursday Times: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.|
People can continue with a silent vigil throughout the conference dates.
Afterwards, all are invited to join Michael Rose, author of the Renovation Manipulation and Goodbye! Good Men, in a meeting at LeMeridien Hotel, 5 blocks from the Fairmont Hotel. That meeting will be from 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. A free will donation will be taken for the cost of the meeting room.
